The US Government appointed CADG to design, build and construct a total of 14 K-Span Maintenance Facilities to house and repair their fleet of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles.
Our experience of working in harsh and remote environment was an asset in carrying out the scope of the project, which included:
• The placement of a reinforced concrete slab approximately measuring 46m×23m×0.2m (approx.) with stub walls to a height of 1.8m.
• The construction of the K-Span superstructure measuring 46m×23m with a height of 9.5m.
• The installation of 2 (Nos.) roller shutter doors and 4 (Nos.) pedestrian doors, power distribution, high bay lighting and a centralized Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.
• Robust SIKA paint finishing of the floors.
The project was successfully completed within the stipulated time frame and budget.
