The goal of this project was to provide income-generating programs to vulnerable and unstable urban population who are at risk of acute food insecurity. The cities and rural areas involved in these Cash for Work (CFW) programs were given an economic boost and beneficiaries throughout the 14 provinces were able to make much-needed food purchases.

 

The programs included:

 

  • Repair works to canals, sewage system, irrigation and other city infrastructures.

 

  • The creation of 3,227,477 man days of labor resulting in 436,615 beneficiaries from the local population.

 

 

A total of 74 community improvement projects were successfully completed throughout the duration and we are proud to have been involved in this program.
